Flash! Average temperature 84.3125 degrees Memorial Day thru Father's Day June 16, 2008

After keeping careful records, we have documented the average temperature in the Capital District from May 31,2008-June 16, 2008 was 84.3125 degrees F.. It appears the Founding Fathers of Saratoga Spa State Park, Spencer Trask, Bernard Baruch and President Franklin D. Roosevelt knew what they were doing by setting Spa Pool dates from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

You must either live in another "Saratoga Springs" or don't know the definition of average. According to the highs for Saratoga posted on www.weather.com the average from May 24 (the Sat. of Mem'l Day weekend) until June 16 was 78°. I also find it interesting that you are using June 16th as a cut off date, knowing the forecast for this coming week is not good.

Please stop slanting information to suit your needs.

It's first year it didn't on Memorial Day unless Memorial Day was July 26th back then.

Saratoga Spa State Park did not open until July 26, 1935.

What, no comment from the society regarding the weather??? What a surprise.

Yes, it IS ironic that your cutoff date for the average temperature is the day before the temperature drops significantly. Would ANYONE have gone to the pool today?
