Yeah...this is a good way to make a positive concrete difference...

OK...in all one hundred percent seriousness here, you are a grown man...don't you feel just the slightest bit foolish?

85 degrees for one day. What about all the rest?? Seems like a lot of money to waste for so few good days.

You must be kidding. This is the only day it has NOT been a perfect pool day since Memorial Day. The Pool always opened Memorial Day for a reason, Great Weather!

Will there ever be a time when you will just accept the fact that the pool opens at the end of June now? I think the tradition is over. And we only have your word that it was a tradition...where are your hard facts?

Just go to the library and check the Saratogians. It is all on microfiche.

I guess that is a no then? You're never going to accept that the pools (there are two you know) in the park will not open until the end of June. You know sometimes traditions change...

Oh and by the way...does it make any sense to you to open one pool in the park before another to satisfy the wants of about 15 people and their families?

Your society is weird.

End of the Week looks warm. The family owned pools are open on the East Side. Neighborhood kids are swimming all the time... too bad this poor slob doesn't have a pool. Maybe they could open the pool a little early.
I would be happy if the poor kids could swim too. Who can I call to get the pool open earlier??
