Why you trouble making old gossip monger! Why don't you tell them the rest of the story? Like how those contractors worked 22 hours straight before quitting at FOUR IN THE MORNING and then coming in at THREE that afternoon.
You should be calling the peerless pool people names! I called the park number to check on the status today and I was told that it won't be open until the end of NEXT week! They can't do this to us! How do they sleep at night knowing that they are robbing people of precious moments and precious memories of their summers.
I think that many children are discovering the Victoria Pool for the first time. Because most of the regulars are snobs and give off a very unwelcoming feeling people with children have been reluctant to visit. Who knows, maybe this summer at the Victoria will be one that stands out from others for a lot of little ones. Oh and really get a life with all that nonsense about "they can't do this to us..." Blah Blah Blah nobody's doing anything to you...lighten up and get a grip.
Your snide comment shows how little you care about the childern and the rest of the tax payers who got refused admittance to the pool on Sunday. Funny, it's the same disregard for what the Society has been fighting for on behalf of so many pool goers. I wonder if your salary is payed by our tax dollars.
Nice try. No tax dollars do not pay my salary but you don't have to be an employee to see that this is all nonsense. What exactly do you claim they have been "fighting" for now? That the capacity limit should be changed and seven hundred people should be shoved into the complex or that the Peerless Pool shouldn't have run into these problems? Because never ONCE in their entire history as a "group" have they ever shown any interest in the Peerless Pool. You can say anything you like, "tax payers" "little you care about children" "snide comment" I don't care but you'll never convince me that this society ever has or will do one bit of good.
Although the question about being a member was not addressed to me personally, I would like to say that I am neither a member of the society nor an employee. But, if I was an employee paid by all of our tax dollars, I would ask for a raise for dealing with such narrow minded, selfish people as the society.
Nice try. I am just a tax payer like you. The difference is, unlike you I feel the society has done and will do good for the Victoria Pool. And unlike you I don't go out of my way to read or post negative comments on blogs I don't agree with. What's the point? Infact what's the point of responding to you? So please excuse me, I'm going to the pool.
“But, if I was an employee paid by all of our tax dollars, I would ask for a raise for dealing with such narrow minded”
Yea like I believe that crap. No doubt your ip address would come back to a State owned computer.
I talked to Fred Dicker today the journalist who exposed the fraud at the Roosevelt Baths. Parties over State Park employees you got some explaining to due.

You make me sick!

Wow, you really shouldn't read this blog if it makes you sick. Then the name calling, shame on you.
That's right, once again they are caught in another bold faced lie and they avert the subject...no...shame on you!
And I wouldn't worry about name calling, those were much less than they deserve.

Don't worry. It looked like the kids were creating plenty of fun memories while playing Marco Polo on Sunday.

Save the Victoria Pool Society is never one to shirk publicity, thats for sure. Funny how you always seem to "find" reporters....
Why is it State Workers always hate reporters. Nervous Chief. I would be if I were you.
This society and blog become more of a joke with every post, chief.
Everything a joke with state workers particularly their jobs. Spitzer thought everything was funny too. Parties never last forever.
