It doesn't look bad, it's nothing spectacular looks like a hotel dining room to me. What's the big deal?

We miss the more "formal" setting of the old dining room. Lower dining tables -with full set-ups and linen tablecloths, full room carpeting, no bar in the room, having the handpainted wall murals accent the full ambience of the room - not being a "background" afterthought as they are now....oh well, just a few thoughts.

Haven't seen the menu - is that also new ? And what replaced the spot where the bar was in the "Bar room" that was off the front porch ? We loved the informal luncheon setting.

Anonymous 8:13, nothing lasts forever. It's time for the old fashioned slow moving old world feeling to leave and be replaced by some new age life!

I went to look at it in person. Who took that lousy picture you used? Anyway the furnishings are in very good taste and the new look is very up to date. I like it a lot. I suggeest people go and look at it in person or STVPS should get someone to take a better picture.

That's part of the negative campaign to smear everything good that happens in the park and its buildings. They can't stand success they only want criticism and failure.

I would like to clarify that the name of the newly remodeled dining room at the hotel is "Putnam's." I suggest you should stop in for lunch or dinner so that you can form your own opinion about the renovation and new menu.
