$300,000 of your tax dollars going down the drain at the Roosevelt Baths.

Rumor has it $300,000 of our money has been poured down the drain into the tubs at the Roosevelt Baths and they are not all being used. Seems to us letting children use the water slide and zero depth pool at the Peerless Pool and the beach at Moreau 7 days a week should be a higher priority. Not raising the fee to swim at Victoria Pool from $6 to $8 should also be a better way to spend our money.

We were told this $300,000 for tubs not all in use is being paid for thru Parks and not Delaware North/Racino.

And why should we believe this? You are constantly confusing fact with fiction.

NYS is buying new tubs for one bath house ? Who is installing them ? Where are the old ones going ? Auction ? Is Bruno name on any of them ?

I hope that Delaware north is paying for them spending money for this in a recession seems silly. Is it taxpayer $$?

the rumor is this $300,000 is our tax-payer money not Delaware North/Racino.

I thought you wanted action taken to improve the Roosevelt Baths. Weren't you harping as recently as two years ago that the water wasn't the right color or something.

And remind us again why we should listen to you? You are in no way affiliated with the organization so you could just be making all this up because you having better to do with your time.

This is crock what the park is doing. Ill take the line.... "I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore" For years the state has taxed us, overcharged us, all in the name of financing their own good. And now the governor wants to get deeper in our pockets and the parks want to raise prices. This is insanity that we just sit here and take this every bit of it. When is enough enough? when will they bleed us dry. Will we be penniless at some point. Why do we put up with this for years its worse and worse and now the economy has tanked and the government makes up money out of the air. They'll give it to banks, CEO's, governors aides and carpets in mansions, but no; we wont see relief nor will we see a penny. We need to stop this assault on our wallets for good. Keep the pools, keep the price the same. Even though our taxes already go into it, there is no tax off ticket sales but who knows whats next? Fun Tax? How did we allow our selves to get into this and how do we elect those that put us in this position.

What has become of people? Everyone is becoming an ungrateful whiner. And, they are also shooting their mouths off without thinking first.

I wonder how many umbrellas $300,000 could buy...

What is your problem? Your rumor states that $300,000 was spent on the tubs at the Roosevelt Baths and not ALL of them are being used. What does that even mean? Are you saying that no one is using them because too much money was spent on them? Sounds like business is just slow to me.

Your organization is obviously a bunch of whiners. First of all you say something is fact and then later on you say it is rumor. Well read the bible to find out what to do with rumor mongers.

Then you make your snide comments by way of saying "Delaware North/Racino" each time as some kind of tongue in cheek insult. Well it just so happens that Delaware North operates many properties and the Gideon Putnam and the baths are just a couple of examples. Perhaps you should get in touch with the Niagara Falls Reporter newspaper in Niagara Falls to find out about the "Maid of the Mist" debacle and take that on too.
