bravo to the Friends of Saratoga State Park staff and Friends.

Congratulations to the terrific engineering staff and Friends of Saratoga Spa State Park for redoing Hawthorne #3 Pavillion. Hawthorne #3 is a great treasure and one of the historic springs that brought our beautiful Saratoga Springs into existence.

I always thought the pool was called the Victorian Pool

The victoria pool is correct. Itwas known as the recreation center when it was opened and called the spa pool for a long time. We think it was renamed the victoria pool in the mid 1960's when the peerless opened to distinguish between the two pools. It was probably named victoria after queen victoria since saratoga springs has long been known as the queen of spas.

Very interesting. What a elegant name for the most beautiful state pool. What is the save the Victoria pool? I went for the first time last year and its beautiful. Is in being shut down or in trouble somehow?

I know it is like way annoying when someone like calls it like the victorian pool instead of like the victoria pool. My BFF's and I make sure like to correct them whenever we can. We always want to be like excuse me there darling like the victoria pool is like a bleeping national like treasure or something like that. Rock on and Peace Out B**ches!
